why do we need more cattle feed choices
Thanks for the comment. Forage prices are very volatile in North Central Iowa due to limited hay production. In the last 12 months we have seen hay prices range from $50 per ton to $200 per ton which can be the difference between profit and loss in the cattle industry. This facility will provide a consistent supply of forage year round. With that being said, the primary economic driver for this business is the antioxidant extracted from the corn stover.
